Two winners will each receive $20,000 in services to develop retail-related layouts or optimize their market strategy. 

We are seeking creative and viable projects that have the potential to drive your business to success. This contest is open to SMEs, startups, and large companies alike.

Terms and Conditions

This contest is open to businesses legally established in Quebec, with representatives aged 18 or older. Each participating business must provide a detailed entrepreneurial profile of the person responsible for the project, including their background, skills, and experience in the relevant sector.
 
Current clients, employees, subsidiaries, agents of Chagall, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

Contest Period: The contest runs from October 6, 2024, to January 10, 2025. The winner will be announced during the week of January 20, 2025.

Applications must include:
1)Project Location: Complete address of the space to design or redesign. 
2)Area: Dimensions of the space involved. 
3)Objective: Goals you wish to achieve with the design and layout. 
4)Detailed Project Description: Desired design elements and necessary changes. 
5)Budget Estimate: Approximate budget for the project. 
6)Current Photos of the Space: Images of the space to be designed or renovated. 
7)Preliminary Implementation Plan: Sketch or outline of the project. 
8)Inspiration Photos: Images illustrating your vision for the project. 
9)Business Plan Summary: Must include: Number of employees, expected revenue, service description, planned investments, target audience, financial data, surrounding competition, assets, etc. 
10)Information about your business: Relevant details concerning your company. 
11)Reasons and Motivations for Winning: A compelling explanation of why your project deserves to win and what sets you apart in the market! 
Make sure to submit all required information by the December 20, 2024 deadline.           

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Feasibility: The project must be realistic and achievable within the given budget and timeline. 
Creativity: Ideas should be innovative, original, and relevant to the retail sector. 
Innovation: Projects demonstrating an innovative approach and long-term potential will be prioritized. 
Potential Impact: The project must have a tangible and positive effect on your business, enhancing its viability and long-term success. 
Local Sourcing: A local sourcing component should be integrated into the project, promoting local businesses and supporting the regional economy. 

The jury will ensure that each selected project is creative, feasible, and innovative, guaranteeing a lasting impact. Projects will be evaluated based on their relevance to the contest's objectives, creativity, feasibility, and potential impact on your business. Jury decisions are final and cannot be appealed. Each project will receive a tailored offer that considers the specific needs of the business. Factors considered will include the scope of work, target audience, marketing goals, and performance expectations. This approach ensures a personalized, realistic, and viable solution to maximize the project's impact. 

1)Winners will receive a design, layout, and marketing package executed by our team, valued at $20,000. This prize includes partial support for the realization of the layout, design, and marketing of their project. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 
2)Start-ups and SMEs: The project must be completed within 9 to 18 months following the announcement of the winner. 
3)Large retail businesses: Renovation must be marketed within 6 to 9 months following the announcement of the winner.      

The winners will be featured on our social media and website, as well as on the platforms of our jury members. The finalists will be announced on January 10, 2025, followed by the official announcement of the two (2) winners during the week of January 20, 2025. The winners will also be contacted by email, and the names of the two (2) companies will be published on our website.

By participating, you grant Chagall a non-exclusive license to use your project for marketing and promotional purposes, with credit given to your company. You retain the copyright to your project.

By accepting the prize, winners consent to the use of their name, image, and project information for advertising and promotional purposes without any additional compensation.

The personal information collected will be used in accordance with our privacy policy and will not be shared without prior consent.

Chagall disclaims any responsibility for technical issues, errors, or fraud affecting the proper conduct of the contest.

Chagall reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest in the event of fraud or other factors or events beyond its control.
